(SMUT) Found magazine turns trash into treasure, compiling random notes and hilarious photos into a glossy rag. When the subject matter turns to smut, though, all the better, and Dirty Found collects "the best raunchy lost and discovered stuff from around the world." Tonight's party celebrates all things pervy, with Found editors in attendance offering a PowerPoint display, a XXX survey, and other smutty goodness. Friends Forever OTHER

(PARKING LOT ROCK) They say all the world's a stage, but for art-damaged noise punks Friends Forever, the tour van is the venue of choice. For the past seven years these Denver delinquents have been spreading a mix of DIY theatrics (smoke, jump ropes, sparklers) and dangerously dirgy blasts of bass, drums, and keyboard to parking lots around the country (they rarely play inside anything but their beat up Volkswagen). (LOCAL PORN EXTRAVAGANZA) After months of hot, itchy anticipation, Hump!, The Stranger's first annual amateur porn contest, hits the big screen tonight at Northwest Film Forum. Of the 43 entries, a select 20 will screen in their entirety and compete for the grand prize—a trip for two to Las Vegas's AVN Awards (AKA the porno Oscars). Excerpts of the remaining 23 entries will be shown as well, with the winner of the whole shebang decided by you. The 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. screenings have already sold out—so we've added two more, at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. (Tickets for those shows go on sale on Thursday, August 18 at noon.) After it all goes down there's a free party (featuring prizes, hot DJs, and a dildo ring toss) at Chop Suey. (DRUM 'N' BASS) While the War Room's weekly drum-n-bass night has history and a sizable chunk of the genre's Seattle fan base on its side, Onset is strongly challenging the incumbent for jungle supremacy. In Temple Billiards' basement, bass (and drums, obviously) caroms 'round the cozy room with the high-impact potency beloved by junglists everywhere. Then get yourself to El Chupacabra where on Monday nights dry-humored bartender/DJ JJ Wandler takes a break from making stellar margaritas to play a rowdy mix of noisy garage punk and cry-in-your-beer, old-school country. Every 45 minutes Wandler asks his appreciative crowd to vote for either country or punk, and then continues his set in accordance with the majority's wishes. (FILM) Twenty-five-year-old Steven Greenstreet's sharp documentary chronicles the hysteria that engulfed Utah when, last November, a state college invited Michael Moore to speak. Someone took exception to Moore's visit, both the right and left got their already tangled panties into even more of a knot, and all hell broke loose. (See Movie Times, p. 99, for more info.)
