Honda sales off 32% in December.

Dana Perino is right; you have to triage these things. We should also only finance invasions of foreign countries if we have a long term plan for viability. Just in case the question ever arises again.

I nominate "Hot Wheels".

"viable automakers?" another example of oxymoron.

The Washington Post ran and article yesterday which mentioned (and it's never come up in the hearings) that GM America is suffering -- but GM Worldwide is profitable and in fact, GW is still the world's largest automaker and is even respected in many countries as a creator of quality automobiles.

Quite frankly, I think their more recent Chevy entries, the Aveo, new Impala, new Malibu, and Colbalt are among the best buys and production cars around.

Also, as far as really innovative cars coming down the line, nothing beats the Volt (choice of plugin or fuel cell), or the Equinox SUV (Hydrogen fuel cell powered).

So, actually, this bailout could turn into a winning investment for U.S.

Who in their right minds listens to the Bush White House? Have they been right about anything?
