Bush continues on, and so did the artists -- don't worry, it wasn't just two blocks.

It just occurred to me to feel sorry for unrelated people named Bush.
3
Not the band, though. They deserve everything bad that happens to them.
4
I always feel bad for the Bush Foundation, as that name can't be good for their fundraising efforts.

Oh, and that "Obama" typeface looks like DIN 1451 or something, much better than the ugly type San Francisco is actually putting on newly-replaced signs.

The real reason we shouldn't officially rename Bush Pl to Obama Pl or something is that we might want to pick a grander street (alternately, if things go too badly, we might want to pick something shorter). Assuming we're happy after 4 or 8 years of Obama, what street should be renamed? I vote for either 23rd or 45th, as both are rather large streets that only have a number for a name.

Brilliant!

And to continue the trend can we rename Cheney, WA as well?
7
Only change the East portion of the road. The dead end bit along the freeway entrance can stay named Bush.

@6, renaming it won't help. Besides, Cheney, WA is pronounced "Cheeney" as opposed to former (fucking FORMER!!!!!) VP Cheney, pronounced "Chayney". Anyway, as I said, renaming it won't help. That place is a hellhole.
9
So's Bush Place...

Obama is more of a name for a cul de sac.

There's no way out and no where to go.

@2: Don't feel sorry for us Fnarf, we cope.

Kinda hoping we don't name anything after him, as generally politicians only get that stuff after being shot or otherwise snuffed out.

Represent, SF!

Kate Bush is awesome, for the record.

I've long wanted to cover the Republican St signs with "Democrat St" labels.

@ 14) Indeed.

Please wait...
