In the context of the graphic novel and film, dressing as V was actually a radical act because of what he represented as well as because in the police surveillance society they lived in to speak out against the government without a cloak of anonymity would be suicide.

Agree with 5 about the V thing - the reason it was revolutionary was because they weren't even supposed to leave their homes, let alone march against their oppressive government, and they did it anyway.

Man, Alex Jones represents the stupidest variety of 'truthers.' For those of us who doubt the official story of 9-11, curiosity on the subject is really all there is. The fact that it's been commoditized and packaged to sell to dumb 'NWO'/'Satanist conspiracy' believers is not our fault. Give it a break, these guys, or anyone who's ever sold a video or hosted a radio show, do not represent the entirety of people who want to know the truth about what happened. Many Who oppose the murderous behavior of the US in Iraq (and around the world) sincerely believe that Bush and the people who control him are an aberration. Following this idea, in the minds of many Americans who oppose the war, that electing a Democratic president would somehow change everything and return sanity to the world. The Bush regime’s criminality is, in fact, totally consistent with the conduct of virtually every American administration of whatever party since the American Revolution. In this fact, I can agree that no matter how great Obama may seem we still live in the most active imperialist nation. However, I feel this trailer is a little much. Most of the conspiracy theorists have never managed an organization bigger their own nuts. Seriously, if they ever had, they'd know how impossible it would be to fake 9/11 working with thousands of real people, flaws and all.
