Are they sure the scales weren't from some hopped-up snake breeder?

WOW LOOK -- a comment from Will in Seattle. Get a job or a coffin, sweetie.
3
I mean really. The comment does nothing to further the conversation. Some people just post just to post!
4
Tubs was a "spa"?
5
The name of the undercover detective is Bryan Wilson as you list in para 5 or Bryan Owens as you cite in the rest of the article? I assume it's Owens but it made for confusing reading.
6
Will in Seattle is a government employee spending hours every weekday making comments here and on other news sites.
Our tax dollars at work.

You gotta give Free Sheep credit for answering the question "what the hell's a local art group gotta do to get some press in the Stranger?" It's gonna be one helluva party at the Moore this weekend.
8
Bryan Wilson... where do they come up with these names? Now whenever I think about this sting operation I can't help but picture the undercover cop wearing a Hawaiian shirt and singing falsetto.

Here is the search-warrant application:

"Police apparently discovered the Capitol Hill speakeasy on 14th and Pike after a newspaper article in September 2007—the affidavits do not cite a publication—"

That was YOU, the Stranger. Way to go the first time, and way to take responsibility.
11
@10—actually, it was a September 4 article in the PI.
12
@10, yeah, the location the stranger outed was the one on 11th and Pike before the 14th and pike location was even the beginning of an idea. the PI article gave the address and description, mainly because the reporter was refused admittance to the event... sour grapes in the most evil way.

Please wait...
