i might vote for scott brown if he were running against kerry.

i just love the irony of this sentiment matched against kerry's endorsement of barack obama back in 2008. bullying tactics---ie the caucuses---are exactly how obama got elected.

You win elections by making Scott Brown deny that he is a child molester. THAT'S how you kick his ass all over the place.
3
At the rate things are going, Kerry should be a lot more concerned about retaining his own seat.

I've learned one thing: it really doesn't matter who is in power. Hell, I am starting to think Gore probably would be slightly better than Bush but not by a whole lot.

America has failed: Time to repatriate ourselves back to England.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!! WE GIVE YOU OUR LOAYALTY!! GOD SAVE THE DIVINE RIGHT OF KINGS TOO!!!

a supporter at a Brown rally on Sunday can be heard saying, "shove a curling iron up her butt." Brown can be seen grinning briefly right after the remark.

That's how Republicans WIN elections. Everyone loves a bully.

Scott Brown's nude photos in Cosmo were hot. I think a lot of voters just want to check out his stimulus package.

I'm sure its because I'm a woman that I find "shove a curling iron up her butt" to be extremely offensive, stupid, and just hateful. Maybe someone here can explain to me why that's an okay thing to say or do.

@8 Man up.

Unlike Mr. Frizzelle, I actually read the entire letter Mr. Kerry wrote. These are the points that I found interesting & important, and the ones that Mr. Frizzelle leaves out.

1-- The Brown campaign brought those hecklers in from out of state. They cannot vote for him, and it's easy to connect the dots that they were brought in for their intimidating actions.

2-- The world "Nazi" has been constantly used to attack Coakley. Mr. Frizzelle is certainly not of the class that would have been taken away & murdered by the actual Nazis, which is the most likely reason he would ignore this. It's a slur that's been tossed around casually for the past two years by primarily the conservative media. It's an accusation that cheapens the very real & very horrifying experiences of those who died or were imprisoned, making the word banal. And again, it's being said by either paid members of the campaign or those foolishly duped into doing it for free.

3-- The death threats on Facebook. I'm sure Mr. Frizzelle is completely at ease w/ receiving online death threats, which is why he ignored this part of the letter. However, I feel that there is a very dangerous line being crossed when we casually accept death threats against political figures. You're taking a giant step towards barbarism, and the type of strong-arm government that is so typical of the third world. Would Mr. Frizzelle feel as casual about this if he lived in Uganda or Liberia?

I have been watching the news & reading the paper since the 70's. This past decade of news-watching has been the most nauseating of my life. The amount of bald propaganda, obvious lies pushed as facts, and a casual approach to really important issues has been so extensive, I really wonder how journalists live with themselves. Mr. Frizzelle, a question: by writing for a news-outlet automatically drain your intellectual capacity and ability to apply critical thinking skills? Does it drain out of you slowly or were you drawn to journalism because you had none to begin with?

grandpa,

if you think only conservatives throw 'nazi' around you need to widen your reading selections

the past decade of news-watching has been a shocker because as a Liberal you were accustomed to three Liberal broadcast network newscasts and PBS and the Liberal New York Times spoon feeding you Liberal hash they regurgitated up and calling it
'news' and all seemed right in your narrow little world. the past decade has seen news outlets with a world view different from your own come onto the scene (and do very well filling a previously totally unmet need) and it is a shock to your fragile Liberal sensibilities.

don't fret.
you're old.
I hear msnbc is all they watch in hell.

I thought that was a new technique recommended in the last underrated Savage Love podcast?

it was in response to this case

As we now know, and what seemed clear to Larry and his clients very early in the case, was that the child had been left in the care of Policeman Keith Winfield, the uncle of the child, the prior day. Officer Winfield, during his hour alone with his 23-month old niece, raped her with a hot curling iron.

Larry took the case and immediately took action to get Keith Winfield put away for his crimes. What he didn’t realize was that he was about to go against then Middlesex DA Martha Coakley, who for reasons I will allow readers to conclude from Frank Frisoli’s recounting of the facts and allegations in an email he provided to us today, would not bring charges against the Toddler Rapist and dragged the process out so long that her successor had to put Winfield away. Coakley allowed this toddler rapist to stay on the streets for over 2 years and she let him out of custody on No BAIL.

John Kerry is a sack of shit.

Prayer isn't medicine, Kerry, and joking schoolyard taunts aren't intimidation. Go sit in the Lieberman corner, you silly-putty-faced dithering clown.

Please wait...
