I'm not a regular buyer at Comics Dungeon, but it's always fun to go there on FCBD since they have so many free titles and since some members from the local Star Wars group stand outside, causing drivers on 45th to do a double take.

I'm curious if most people abided by the store's limit of 7 books apiece though.

Here's a heartwarming FCBD tale:

7 Books? Zanadu in the U-District capped it at 2...

Sadly, I didn't get a chance to get one this year. Well, I didn't get a chance to get my son one. I got him the kid oriented DC one last year, and he LOVES it. I wanted to show him the light and get him the Marvel one and an Owly one this year, but just didn't have the time. (And, I'll admit, the Iron Man Cap America one interested me.)

Well, Next Year!

@2 Heartwarming, indeed. The ocular prosthetic adjustment halfway through the vid had me howling.

Golden Age Collectibles, so far, is the best LCBS I've found since hitting Seattle. And it would've been a few blocks out of your way.

When did Zanadu remodel?

Also Golden Age hasn't done FCBD in past years I've been in Seattle for the event, unless that's changed.

@6: Just in the last few months, although they've been improving the store for the last few years in bits and pieces. It's nothing dramatic all at once, but if you were to look at photos from a few years ago, you'd only recognize it because the main wall of incoming books is the same thing.

@7 Golden Age has done FCBD the past several years.

Please wait...
