I think I didn't see a single person of color in that ad. "Fancy speeches" basically means "black guy talking as good or better than white people"
2
He managed to announce it the same day the biggest city in Minnesota was pummeled by a series of tornadoes: "Tomorrow, my first campaign stop will be in Iowa." Brilliant fucking timing. Then again, I guess it doesn't really matter seeing how Minnesota won't vote for Pawlenty again.

i hate to break it to you, goldy, but tim pawlenty is totally fucking batshit crazy on both social and financial issues. his obscurity to the rest of the country outside of MN makes people think that he's less of an idealogue than he is. take it from a minnesotan with a brain and half a conscience - tim pawlenty is a nightmare.

Tim Dukakis.

Yeah Goldy, as a current Minnesotan I'm with AmyC on this. You're thinking of 2005 TPaw. He wasn't "totally batshit crazy on social issues" and he was even fiscally moderate. You need to look into 2011 TPaw. This guy's a wack job. He's hard core fiscally (as the Repub's define it today) and socially conservative. Did you see the recent debate, or even Jon Stewart's take on it? He's done a McCain on virtually every moderate stance he ever took.

"I think I didn't see a single person of color in that ad."

Really, Après toi? You missed that big black dude at 0.35? Standing with an Asian woman? Or what about the Asian dude at 0.30? After so many muggings, he'd probably vote Republican anyway so maybe he doesn't count as colored' in your world view?

If you're going to go colored-hunting, at least make an effort. Fucking idiot....

Another Golden Gopher here to tell you that T-puke only appears to be a moderate. Since turdblossom convinced him to run for Gov to clear the way for that bastard Coleman to run for Senate he has run headlong to the wingnut side - which was not as far in reality as his words would have you believe. - in hopes of hitting the big payday.

He left MN in the hole more than it needed to be & a lot worse off.

The local fish wrap had a good cartoon today:
A candy box of "Good and Pawlenty" spilling out of it were no-doze tablets!

Tim Pawlenty is batshit. He supports the teaching of creationism in public schools. You know, so students could "be exposed to the various theories and make up their own minds". That's all you need to know. That is a zero percent answer right there.

Another Minnesotan confirming 'batshit crazy'. He only seems moderate because Michelle Bachmann completely overshadows him in the cra-cra department.
Bachmann/Pawlenty 2012! Get both these nutjobs out of my state, and politics in general, for good.

I'll give him credit for not disabling Youtube Comments & Voting.
