Ahem, that was one uncomfortable "oral" moment. Could that be anymore "explicit" without being explicit? Man, fellatio city. I'll grant you she's 16 y/o but she does look older. Not that I would endorse what he is doing but some cultures don't have a problem with the age discrepancy. When I lived and worked in the Republic of Cameroon, a largely Muslim central African country, my colleague took a fourth wife of 17 y/o. He was 47 y/o.
Not that I've ever met you of course, but all the same.
She doesn't look 16 and he doesn't look 51 but it's nevertheless pretty disturbing and I really hope that this doesn't end badly.

Cameroon is a largely Christian country. Less than a quarter of Cameroonians are Muslim.
Cultures that don't have a problem with age discrepancies are those where women are wholly dependent on men, to the point that parents are relieved to marry off their underaged daughters to old men because at least their daughters will be well cared for (strictly in economic terms). Once cultures reach some degree of equality, age discrepancies rapidly shrink because, when women have a choice, they don't choose old men.
Even in the U.S., age discrepancies among married, heterosexual couples have decreased from seven years to three years since the '60s.
And Fnarf, what the fuck is wrong with you? A parasite? What about her parents? Aren't they bigger parasites, pimping out their daughter like this?
This is a slow-motion tragedy that's been sixteen years in the making. Lil Courtney here has a tough road ahead of her.

& age is gonna be even more harsh on her by the time she is 22.

I dispute that. I don't know the percentages per se but Cameroon is animist, Christian and Muslim with Islam arguably being the greatest % of all three. What is important is where I lived in the Far North Province was overwhelmingly Muslim. Practicing polygamy and adult men marrying very young brides was very common.

I don't dispute what you said. Like you, I want a greater role economically for women so they are not so dependent on men especially in the developing world where this kind "culture" exists. Clearly, when women get to choose their mates the age differential dissipates. My point was that some "Cultures" still tolerate this sort of behavior. In addition, they are creeping into the Occident (America & elsewhere).
From what I have observed of old man- young woman marriages there, while they are not generally ideal, they work better than in our culture because people do not expect their spouses to be everything for them emotionally and socially. The chances of a marriage like that working is much lower in our culture.
And not all polygamists in Africa are Muslim. Polygamy has been around a lot longer than Islam.
She's got a hunger for fame. The press is mostly apathetic for how much they go out of their way to mug for stories and airtime.
