Snout and Co. was supposed to be in SLU on Monday, but had generator trouble so I haven't tried them yet, but the menu sounds delicious and the prices are very good compared with other food trucks. I'm looking forward to seeing them next week.
re: Honeybee Bakery, their cinnamon rolls are nice and big and fluffy ..if you like the glazed type rather than the gooey, nutty ones. I prefer the later .. the interior is so insanely depressing that I can barely muster any enthusiam for the place. Itâs in a totally kitsch building, couldnât they at least have gone kitsch? Canât imagine it wouldâve cost anymore than the Lynnwood-style interior they are rocking now. That said Iâm glad that someone had the balls to occupy this space just wish it was cooler/better.
I would be sad about the Night Kitchen, but every time I tried to go there it was closed for one reason or another. So I'll never know whether it was any good.
Does anyone know another place to get pie after midnight and south of the ship canal?
I liked Night Kitchen and I heard that there were issues with the building. Someone I know was in there for repairs and there were wild animals getting in from other unoccupied space.

My experience, exactly.
Ristorante Doria is outstanding. I've eaten there three times. The ambiance is excellent as well.
