I'm puzzled. Amy Klobuchar is generally one of the good ones. I'm wondering why she cast her lot with this bag of blunt instruments.

More democrats than not are for draconian intellectual property rights. On some level I'm sure the money from corporate interests doesn't hurt, but historically you could look at a company like Disney. They stole the majority of their ideas, Walt Disney would be nothing without building on the ideas of others. Then the CEO who I think may even be there now, I forget his name, went crazy with how the company tried to protect it's brand from even the strangest of remixes. These politictians need to ask themselves if what they're doing is for the public good. Throwing illegal downloaders in jail for 5 years is an insult to humanity.
