No disrespect intended, but is it just me or are these press releases starting to read really strangely? I expect the dramatic political language, but what's with the weird mid-paragraph Occupier "interview"?
Publicola notes that last night cops booted Occupy Seattlers out of a vacant house at 12th and Jefferson, and that they're working toward booting out the ones in the vacant house at 23rd and Alder next.
And remember, there's an Occupy march against Pike/Pine gentrification tomorrow that intends to go all the way from where Occupy's camp got kicked out of SCCC, two blocks to the site of the 10th & Union building cops booted Occupy out of a couple weeks ago. Probably at rush hour for traffic and news alert purposes. Watch for cop baiting and clergy costumes.
With the new SOPA, they'll be locked up in indefinite detention without trial for not acting like Serfs and thinking that American Citizens actually have Rights enumerated in the Constitution and the State Constitution ...
Yup, it starts at 5'ish, but its just going from SCCC to the near the old warehouse. I suspect if they get alot of people to show up and nobody from the news shows up with cameras, they might decide to take a detour to downtown via Pike and stir up a shit storm by blocking street traffic.
I wrote this release this morning and it was really rushed, but reporters really like to not have to come out and talk to people so you toss in a few quotes they can pull and they're more likely to run the story.
