Don't you mean the Thompson and Giuliani campaigns of 2008? Otherwise, spot on.
2
Moron?
4
Molly Ivins would have been very happy today.
5
Yeah, Thompson and Giuliani made some terrible miscalculations, but neither was as relentlessly stupid as Perry. I'm going to miss him on the campaign trail.
6
Which was worse, Perry's campaign or Cain's? Which one is stupider? Do we need a stupid-off, or do the debates qualify?
7
The most obvious question Rick Perry will never answer: where is Florida?
8
Why would the shitfaced flamboyant twin be considered the evil one?
9
It will all be worth it if, henceforth and forevermore, Texas has no more relevance to national politics than Rhode Island.
10
Nobody might be firing up the Perry 2016 bandwagon, but Rick Perry has a bright future as the center square on Hollywood Squares.
11
2008, not 2004 for Thompson and Giuliani. 2004 was Shrub's "reelection".
12
So much for his highlights reel. Yeah, but what about his bad points?

These Christo-Fascists of the New Apostolic Reformation scare the crap out of me. Palin was the first to drop out, followed by Bachmann, and now one of the biggest of them all, Perry.

The NAR pastors are reluctantly supporting Santorum now, and he fits right in with them, but I'm hoping he's doomed, too. Theoretically, as a Catholic, the charismatics should shun him.
13
Can we at least see him on the next season of Dancing with the Stars ? I want to see just how light he is on his feet.
14
Actually, I think the best comparison to Perry is Wesley Clark's 2004 presidential campaign. In both cases, you had a dude who looked perfect on paper, with basically no national profile, who started tanking the moment he actually stood up in front of a camera.
15
But Cain wasn't trying to be serious. He was just trying to flog bumper stickers and other campaign knickknacks.

Fnarf,

We absolutely need a stupid-off, moderated by Dazzling Don Trump, and also including Bachmann, Glenn Beck, Snooki, Bobcat Goldthwait, Homer Simpson and my god-awfully insufferable co-worker, Becca. Please make this happen.

I would have liked to have known how Bank of America helped Rick Perry out.

Please wait...
