Insulting. Ignorant. Scary. Deluded.
2
It is so hard to pick one. It is such a douche canoe convention.
3
Let's please take it as a given that Ron Paul is an enormous douchebag on this subject, and any question as to his douchiness was settled the moment the phrase "honest rape" escaped his pie-hole...

...but that said, (a) it doesn't seem completely unreasonable to assume that he simply misspoke and said "estrogen" instead of "progesterone", and (b) per wikipedia (with all appropriate reservations about that as a source), some emergency contraceptives do in fact contain estrogen, so perhaps that's what he was referring to?

Again, total douchebag, no argument.
4
I voted Santorum, but it's like asking "who's the worst, Stalin, Mao or Hitler?" They're all awful.
5
Saw the Yuzpe Regimen mentioned in a different thread:

The Yuzpe Regimen is a method of emergency contraception using a combination of estrogen and progestogen hormones and started within 72 hours of sexual intercourse. It has been superseded by a progestogen-only hormonal regimen. - wikipedia
6
What a monster! Of course I didn't actually watch the clip, but I trust Paul Constant's unbiased opinion.
7
high-dose estrogen is a 1960's-era morning-after contraception method.

He's not incorrect, just grossly out-of-date.
8
Ron Paul is worse, because you believe he just doesn't care, and because he's a licensed medical doctor.

Rick Santorum strikes me as someone who is possibly actually a decent, kind man who believes he is doing best, but has a large tumor in part of his brain.

Paul, I think would kill people. Santorum, I think is horribly, horribly misguided, but he hasn't been licensed to do no harm.
9
I chose Romney. Not because I think he has the worst approach, but because he's going to win the nomination, and thus the other three don't matter. Romney's the only one who has a chance to enact whatever terrible ideas are in his head.
10
@7: yeah, that's what I suspected. Given his age and when it was he last actually practiced, it makes sense.
11
Paul is the worst of the worst, a total and complete charlatan. It is dumbfounding how ardent his supporters are, in the face of growing mountains of evidence of his racist/bigoted/caveman views (nothing against cavemen) and connections.

#9

Like Obamacare which he invented?
13
I can't take credit for this name, cause I just read it on another blog: Ronulans. Vs. Paulbots. Either works for me.
14
Oh, Jessica Pieklo is missing the point! Ron Paul says he will give "them" a shot of estrogen! So to be an "honest rape," the woman must forcibly drag the rapist into the emergency room as well so they can both get shots! No doubt the estrogen will cause the rapist to renounce his raping ways.
And Ron is just thinking ahead - once he makes abortion illegal for anything except "honest rape," there will be tons of women with medical conditions lying about their conditions in order to preserve their lives -you wouldn't want that!

Hey look, a lot more people participated in this poll than in several of the Nevada counties for the Republican caucus.

For instance:

Mineral County

Gingrich 39
Romney 37
Paul 15
Santorum 12

And, yes, that's VOTES, not percentages.

16
Unlike notable leftist Whoopi Goldberg's "rape-rape" definition when defending Roman Polanski's anal rape of a 13-year old.

Double standard much?
17
@16: Yeah, Whoopi totally got a pass on that one. Feminists, leftists, and thinking people in general all over the world shrugged their shoulders and said "oh well, she voted for Obama so that's okay then."

Oh wait, that's the opposite of what happened, and Whoopi Goldberg is running for president of exactly jack shit. You and her both are cordially invited to take your drooling moral idiocy and pound sand.
18
A republican. With idiotic women's rights beliefs.

Why are you acting all shocked? This is SOP for them.

Nothing new to see here....
19
Regardless of his beliefs on them, he wants the voters of each state to choose their state's laws involving it ... that's a win no matter how you spin it.
20
There's no "all of the above" option
22
Rick Santorum strikes me as someone who is possibly actually a decent, kind man who believes he is doing best, but has a large tumor in part of his brain.

Er, the tumor part is probably the only correct part. This is the guy who'd see the honest rape babies as gifts from God. (And don't forget he's a welfare cheat, claiming residency in PA to get school monies or something like that when he and his family was living in VA.)
23
@21: KK is a libertarian who's on social services. she's poor and fucking hates the poor.
24
I chose Ron Paul, because at least the other yahoos aren't pretending to be in favor of personal liberty.
25
@24: The all are. Ron Paul is a Federalist when it suits him, and he doesn't give a fuck if anyone on a state level deprives you of liberty and human rights.

Please wait...
