Actually, the entire thing is pretty damn funny and I suppose if you are a lawyer, even more funny.
2
It would be a helluva a lot funnier if there weren't a strong risk that Gonzalez might lose his race to this unqualified dolt because of his...ahem...ethnic-sounding name.

Seriously, everybody tell your friends and family to get off their asses and vote in this election.
3
Gonzalez also speaks Japanese and Spanish, fer crissakes. He's literate in three languages.
4
dude is just mixing his tenses around

i screw that up all the time when in both english and spanish (so do a lot of other people if you pay attention)

plus if @3 is right...

petty post.
5
@4 - But people who are running for office might send their materials through a revision or two before sending them off to the printer. To put that sentence out on campaign materials is lazy and careless at an eighth-grade level.
6
shouldn't that be grammar-based?
7
At least it's a better reason than Eli's contrived "gun club scandal". Fuck off back to your closet and stick your Pulitzer back up your ass.
8
@Dan According to the Chicago Manual of Style: "When compound modifiers (also called phrasal-adjectives) such as open-mouthed or nicotine-free come later in a phrase than the noun they describe, ambiguity is unlikely and the hyphen dispensable (though not incorrect)."
9
@3: Gonzalez actually speaks four languages. He's also fluent in Chinese.

Please wait...
