Hymn 134: Eternal Spirit of the Living Bill Murray
Eternal Spirit of the living Bill Murray,
I know not how to ask or what to say;
I only know my need, as deep as life,
and only you can teach me how to play.
Come, play in me the joke I need this day;
help me to see your wisdom and your wit
where I have failed, what I have done amiss;
fed in forgiving laughs, let me be filled.
Come with the farce I need, the visage wry
of mellow mope, of melancholy;
enrichment of this life in jest outpoured;
my thanks to you, O Bill; your cheer in me.
Eternal Spirit of the living Bill Murray,

I only know my need, as deep as life,
and only you can teach me how to play.
Come, play in me the joke I need this day;

where I have failed, what I have done amiss;
fed in forgiving laughs, let me be filled.
Come with the farce I need, the visage wry
of mellow mope, of melancholy;
enrichment of this life in jest outpoured;
my thanks to you, O Bill; your cheer in me.
