The portrait is beautiful. It reminds me of the work of French painter, Jean-Leon Gerome. However, the Spanish magazine cover is in poor taste. Madame First Lady Obama, like all first ladies deserve respect at the very least.
That cover reminds me of the infamous New Yorker cover in 08'(?) of Michelle & and then candidate Barack Obama:
