I dont think I can even vote for either of these guys.

McKenna answers appear more specific, he appears to know the issues better, but you can shake that feeling that he's a weasel. That and I dont support his views on Heathcare reform or same sex marriage or even the tax returns refusal.

Inslee is more likable but kinda trails on some answers, software companies need more spectrum? I dont think he understands what that means. But I agree with his stance on the privatization of liquor stores, agree with his stance on HCR and same sex marriage. I want to vote for the guy, but you cant help the fact that Inslee had a few "deer in the headlights" look to his face on some questions.

You got the topics right but somehow you must still have been watching some other debate. Inslee was TERRIBLE. He's more a stranger (heh) to the English language than Bush ever was. He never spoke in specifics when there are specifics to be talked about for almost all of those questions save the stupid lightning round - which McKenna managed to do. Using one of his two questions on the tax return thing was a complete waste. Awful.

Inslee has an odd combination of eyebrows and eyes and cheekbones which always makes him look like a deer in the headlights. He's also not slick. McKenna is slick, because he doesn't really care whether anything's true or not.

I'm really sick of candidates--all candidates--using their female family members' medical problems as campaign points.

Why watch the debate when I can read this live blog.

What?

You're not watching Paul Ryan shit through his mouth?

re: sales tax, you've obviously never lived in Oregon, where the payroll taxes are really high if you make nothing in the first place (think 1/3 of your check is gone to fed and state taxes).

TACK goddammit! when you go off in a particular direction it is a TACK like a sailboat tacking to catch the wind. Tact is the art of politeness and it doesn't usually apply to politics anyway.

Re "KOMO's second digital channel" - for future reference, you don't need cable for that; it's what makes the switch to digital broadcast so cool, that there can be multiple broadcasts on one channel. It would be 4.2 on your regular old broadcast box.

McKenna came across to me as an arrogant dick. And I have a hard time watching a man wearing the same glasses as my grandma.

I was all gungho about Jay, but then halfway through, I think he started losing his train of thought a little. A couple of sentences were kinda confusing, and his eyes got a little wide. He looks really good when he sticks to short soundbites, and his commercial is awesome. Stay away from long explanations.

Please wait...
