What's the point of wishing a dead person "happy birthday"?
2
@1 He's not dead, he's just pining for Outer Space.

Hamill's voice work on Batman: the Animated Series was great. The guy who did Batman IS the voice of Batman, he nailed what Bale tried to do.

@1 - I'm pretty sure Mark Hamill doesn't read this blog. What's the point of wishing him happy birthday? Sometimes you just want to say "hey, it's these people's birthday!" and saying "happy birthday" seems to be the kind of traditional way of doing that.

Down with this sort of thing

@1

What's the point of a funeral if the dead person isn't around to enjoy it?

Happy birthday, Luke Skywalker!
8
Luke Skywalker is(was) older than Superman?

This is the most surprising and shocking thing I've learned this month.

Mr. Reeve would never want me to call his life a tragedy, so I won't, but man...such a beautiful, healthy, athletic man meeting with such a bizarre accident than robbed him of most of his physical functions - trapped in a chair.

Wish I had his kind of bravery and courage!

My birthday too (Hamill+1, Reeve+2).

I don't know why Mary excluded other September 25ers, such as Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Will Smith, Barbara Walters, Heather Locklear, Cheryl Tiegs, Pedro Almodóvar, William Faulkner, Robert Bresson, Mark Rothko, Dmitri Shostavovich, Glenn Gould, Phil Rizzuto, Shel Silverstein, Aida Turturro, Scottie Pippen, Matt Hasselbeck.

@3: Truth. Kevin Conroy is the voice of batman. He perfected it, and also did the voices for Batman in the Arkham video games.

Interesting fact: it was his idea to have two distinct voices for Batman and Bruce Wayne, essentially the first time anyone had thought to do so for an animated series.

Please wait...
