Rmoney's aggressive approach to Syria will no doubt include American "advisers" and draw us into another civil war that will kill many more thousands of Americans. We've seen it before and it does not work. He clearly thinks we can install another puppet regime that we'll need to prop up with more trillions of tax dollars that we need here at home. This guy is wrong for our country in so many ways.
I guess Romney hasn't figured out that, the more we meddle in Middle Eastern countries' affairs, the more they hate us. Or maybe he has, and just thinks it will be good for business (if you're a defense contractor).
@7 Better we should? There are plenty of countries in the middle east that can do a better job than we can in helping the rebels. They should get intelligence and medical aid fom us. We're still fighting the people we helped in Afghanistan when they threw out the Soviets. We don't help. We make things worse.
@7
"I know, yet Assad even bombs civilian hospitals where no rebels are reported."
The question isn't whether Assad is bad.
The question is whether the people we'd be supporting are better.
For reference, look at Afghanistan and Iraq.
Instead of getting involved in ANOTHER multi-billion dollar war how about we funnel a few million into hospitals and schools and public works amongst groups that are the closest to us in ideology?
I am certain Romney would begin another war somewhere, very soon into his presidency if elected.
I think the reason he's being so malleable on his economic and social policies is because he intends to start a war that would completely deflect all public scrutiny away from them.
1) Start a war, 2) Give massive tax cuts to his wealthy friends, and 3) Cut social services to the bone.
It's exactly what G.W. Bush did. And he got elected twice! And we're STILL cleaning up his mess.
On the Kony meltdown: Yes, doing copious amounts of drugs paid for by the people you duped into sending donations to you does that to a brain. You're still an idiot and you still deserve all the public shaming that you get dished.
Syria is Sunni via Shite. Second, Saudi Arabia and Iran are fighting a proxy war in Syria. What Romney is proposing could draw in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Israel. Possibly even Russia. If you think Iraq was about oil, look at the particpants for this fiasco. Maybe we could ask Libya to participate.

Oh, and there's SNOW in Winnipeg and parts of southern Manitoba.

Here's a hint: don't start a land war in Asia, especially in Afghanistan, and don't invade Canada.
Neither ends well for Americans. Ever.
