I'll bet Dan gets a lot more e-mail than you do. Deal with it.
2
I bet you'd get fewer e-mails if you were unemployed
3
I bet most of them are Viagra spam.
4
And how many of those emails could have read in the time it took you to post this request for fewer emails?
5
@4, Fewer than the number he could have read instead of composing yet another post about his tomatoes.
6
But if you don't read your email how will you ever find out about this Nigerian prince friend of mine?
7
This is why twitter is better.

More twits, easier to ignore.
8
More importantly, how many Facebook friends do you have?
9
You're just bragging about how popular you are. For the record, I have never sent you an email.
10
I was beginning to worry after not getting a response. Maybe someone else can tell me if this looks infected.

Are you a victim of selfspam (alt. autospam).

Defined (by me) here:

@10 yes.

It's no wonder his reporting is sub-standard. He selectively reads his e-mail. I bet in the 56k+ pile there might be some facts that you missed.
14
I am signing you up for ArcaMax Joke of the Day.
15
I've had that problem.

I remember that pain.

The key is to decide that 52,000 of those emails are unimportant. Then designate a day or two of personal time to flipping through them to make sure none of them are death, birth, or wedding notices from people you care about.... or direct emails from your boss. Delete all the others, they are unimportant.

If you do not have separate email accounts for personal life and professional, create one now. Maybe with your job, you need separate accounts for politics, work, and local news... or at least separate filters.

And where is the moderator in this debate anyway?!!!
16
Joke of the day? That's not going to be noticeable. Do they have a joke of the minute option?
17
I've never sent you an email. And never will. You're welcome.

Please wait...
