Part of me thinks this is a set up for the anti-74 crowd to use in the last couple of weeks pror to the election.

I'd be shocked if it's not exploited to the extreme.

If a Preserve Marriage Washington supporter even so much as kicks over your signs or threatens you it is vital to get in contact with the police. It's true, attacks against LGBT Americans and allies goes up during these campaigns but for some reason we hesitate to even say anything.

Silence is damaging. Say something.

Just in case people want to learn what kind of agent provocateur Preserve Marriage Washington or a similar group might employ to discredit LGBT Americans and allies and marriage equality proponents...

A suspect was booked at 12:24 pm Wednesday October 16 for investigation of malicious harassment w/hate. Someone with the same name of the suspect is a 23-year-old with a MySpace page (Orientation: Straight) and a Facebook profile (likes Ferras, Sublime, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Capitol Hill TV and CliqVue Television). Facebook profile shows two white young men posing close together. Washington court history of someone with the same name as the suspect shows eight court cases, the most recent in SeaTac Municipal Court. And someone with the same name of the suspect has a Twitter account boasting he is a star of @capitolhilltv and a Professional [sic] model. Someone with the same name as the suspect has a voter registration address placing him in Normandy Park, is that close to Burien?

If this is not an agent provocateur, someone might tell this young man that this behavior is not likely to sway the hearts and minds of the Reject R-74 side.

@3 While I hope what you say is true, I do hope the poor man's name is not common that you've unearthed (and that you are not Victoria Liss). At least you have the decency not to post it!
5
The suspect likes Mitt Romney and his mom is a tea partier.

The suspect is also part of a reality show.

Hmmmm.

So this is looking more and more like a naive kid doing something stupid and being exploited for gain by others. Sad.
8
@7 is a Mars Hill supporter and not pro-74, so, yanno...

"Go Back To Africa" (or anywhere for that matter) to a person who has the courage to go demonstrate is a crime? Any kind of crime? Granted, it's a nasty thing to say. But is it really a crime to say that? It's not even a threat. It's just nasty, that's all.

Nothing like a bunch of bum boys sitting around arguing who deserves to be the victim of a hate crime.

There's a hip hop club in the Rainier Valley?
13
I wish I could go back to Africa. That place was beautiful.

On one hand, you can't let stuff like this stand.

But on the other hand, is a shove in the parking lot really require legal intervention?

@7: How does it feel to be a racist piece of shit?

Please wait...
