This reminds me of the sniggering I used to hear back in the seventies when I was forced by circumstances to hear groups of well-off older white men standing around with drinks jawing, about how if you wanted anything from the dad gum gummint you had to be a "handicapped black refugee lesbian woman veteran". Hyuck, hyuck, hyuck. "From a broken home!" one would then chime in.
That was forty years ago. Forty years the Republicans want back -- even though they ALREADY HAD half of them.
On the bright side, what you're hearing is the sound of a cultural war being lost.
I'm loving how Ryan is self-sabotaging his future run for the presidency. You just know that he stands in front of the mirror gelling his trademark quiff in a seemingly careless angle from his widow's peak while humming "Hail to the Chief." And he's making it all less probable every time he opens his mean-spirited mouth.
@9, you're only off by a couple. The answer is in my link. what throws a lot of people off is the fact that I can read and write standard English, which is almost unheard of these days.
The circumstances to which I allude are, of course, being around my family.
Romney, Ryan, Palin, McCain, Bush II, Cheney --- God, the Republican's just keep putting up total losers who would apparently prefer a very male-dominated hierarchical world. I mean, not that it currently isn't, but clearly things are changing. If they keep up this trend, the forces of progression may be in luck. (Assuming they don't manage to steal another fucking couple of elections...)
Republican Rep. Joe Walsh, running against Democratic challenger Tammy Duckworth in Illinois, told reporters Thursday night that there should be no abortion exception for the "life of the mother" because "with modern technology and science, you can't find one instance" in which a woman would actually die, according to a radio station.
@17, oh, baby, if it's a climax you're after, well then. Perhaps...you should look elsewhere. I've disappointed more people than you've had hot dinners.
@16, I'm hoping women win. I hope expect the media chatter about women moving to Romney after the first debate is just babble. Binders full of women and cooking for the kids should have been enough for any woman with self-respect. If I hear one more underemployed woman with a Southern drawl yammering about how she's voting for Romney because he's a bidnes'man, I am going to lose it.

The Democrat Economy has been a jackboot in the fact of women for the last six (6) years.
This is why Hillary the Dragon Queen, can drive younger women out of their jobs and back to academia.
There are fewer opportunities for women in the constricted Obama Economy, fewer new businesses for them to get the top positions.
The circumstances to which I allude are, of course, being around my family.
Review: "Fnarf hasn't jumped the shark; he's still on the beach buried in the sands of anti-climax and disappointment...".
