What a horrible sacrifice you have made there Goldy. It's like the fucking people who have lost their homes and a few their lives seem insignificant when compared to the loss of your vacation spot.
This reminds me of that parable (to bring a little Slog Bible study into this) about the man who built his home on the sand. Obviously, it didn't last. That long chain of islands along the Jersey shore is basically a string of huge sandbars. No one should really be living there because it's all just sand. Some tourist structures so people can visit and enjoy the shore? Sure. But don't build your house on the sand on the beach and not expect this crap to happen from time to time.
@7 "or block my account". I can't NOT read you, Goldy, and I can't NOT respond, so cancel my subscription this instant. Oh, no subscription? Well, block my account, then. No, I don't know what I mean by that, but I demand you block my account immediately.
The only thing your little whine is missing is "so there."
Because of those hideous fucking feet. Dear God, I think I'm going to puke.
I hope you don't let your daughter or any other humans or animals or seagulls see those goddman crooked dogs. Jesus christ, man, put some fucking shoes on.
Longport, located on the southern end of Absecon Island, ends at 11th Street, the missing 10 blocks having washed away in storms decades ago.
When my dad was still alive, I'd go to NJ in August for a nice family get-together. Sometimes we'd go to the shore Ocean City, NJ. Th street that runs right along the ocean is 2nd St., 1st street having been washed away just like the 10 blocks of Longport.
