Obama promised to lower the debt and control spending.

That's the debt the republicans racked up with two wars, tax cuts, and extra medicare goodies for old people.

Republicans were more than happy to put these on the national credit card when Bush was in office. Then when a democrat got in, they decided they didn't want to pay it AND blamed the democrats for running out without paying the bill.

AND... Spending in Obama's term has remained pretty stagnant. All you have to do is look at the facts. Republicans, of course, just ignore the facts and lie to everyone that under Obama spending has increased. Not even trying to hedge it a little... they're just flat out lying.

And how do republican voters respond to this? They change the subject.

This is precisely what we should expect out of Super PACs, on either side of the aisle. They don't even have to disclose who they are, what makes anyone think they'll remotely stick to the truth?
