So there are people who voted for weed and not gay marriage? Fuck those people!!
5
@4: I believe both I-502 and R-74 are passing.

Am I right?
6
What's up with the SLOG clusterfuck situation right now?
7
"Washington State voters are approving the legalization of marijuana by a 55-54 percent margin"

I can't wait for the influx of Dutch tourists.
9
"Washington State voters are approving the legalization of marijuana by a 55-54 percent margin"

Ummm... that adds up to 109%.
10
@7: 109% is 9% better than 100%!!!!!

Woohoo!!!!

Congratulations to all.
14
Can we now consign the anti-502 jerk-offs to the lowest sewers of the seventh level of hell? All you old dudes who were afraid of being one-upped by the smart girl? Alison just handed you your ripped up ass on a platter. Now shut the fuck up and go away.
15
What GREAT News!
Thank you, Washington State activists.
16
Legalization looks like it's winning in Colorado too.

Interesting thing will be to see how Obama, DoJ and DEA react to this.
17
Congratulations, this is huge!
18
Yeah, the amendment to legalize marijuana passed in Colorado as well.

I am totally for legalizing pot, one major reason being that pot heads will (hopefully? please?) shut the fuck up already. Christ, you guys have seriously been your own worst enemies in this whole thing.
19
I never thought this day would come.
20
Wait, so does this mean I'll be able to pick up some doobies at 7-11 now or some shit? How's this suddenly gonna work?
21
In an ideal world, it'd work similar to the way cigarettes & booze work: it'll get regulated, taxed, & you can get busted for driving under the influence, just like you can currently w/ booze or prescription pills. You'll have to be a certain age before buying.

I have zero guess as to how it will affect the current medical marajuana industry or its patients.

WA, CO - the (slightly red) eyes of the nation are upon you! Please make this work.
22
@21: "I have zero guess as to how it will affect the current medical marajuana industry or its patients."

502 changes nothing in the medical law. So for patients there should be no effect. As for the industry...for those that are legit: great. For the others (as in those that opposed 502): fuck 'em. High, long and hard.
23
happy 502!
24
It looks like Vancouver may now become the "cool city" of the Portland OR region. Could not have seen that one coming.
25
My hippie pothead wife says thank you.

Please wait...
