You should've specifically told councillor Licata he's not allowed to vote multiple times. He's voted "no no no" 10 times already.

So yesterday.

When he first ran for office (in the late 1970's?) his campaign signs got "graffittied" to read: "People Like us Lick Licotta"

Just checked back. Now he's voted 31 times! STOP HIM! The world needs Lick Ricotta. No matter what Nick Licata wants.

(Sounds like he's doing a pretty damn good job, by the way.)

Nick Licata, was chosen to chair a new national organization, called Local Progress, whose goal is to spread successful, progressive legislation from city to city...

Does this mean he's going to stop fighting progressive legislation here in Seattle?

I mention this because I've never recalled Licata to be much of a friend of transit or density. Or at least his friendship ends the moment such changes begin costing anyone anything or inconveniencing anyone in any way. Oh, and he was also pro-viaduct.

To me, Nick Licata's a progressive the way Knute Berger or Joel Connelly is a progressive. He's what I think of as a "regressive progressive."
