GET's side-effect of penalizing the state for recklessly defunding higher education is a feature, not a bug.

Tom is breaking new ground in ways to tank his approval ratings. Did he have a stroke over the summer? Switch meds? Convert to Scientology?

There was a time when paying into a college fund in advance was regarded as the responsible thing to do.

Has any Dem declared to run against this yahoo yet? I got money to burn.
Absent someone to donate to at the moment, is there an offshore institution making book on Tom's electoral defeat?

Rich people have a way of paying for tuition.

They just don't want everyone else to go to college.

You were smart. I invested in Scholarshare, a 529 plan sponsored by California, for the past 12 years. I put $500 a month into that and I am just breaking even. I would have been better sticking it under my mattress or buying GET.

Rodney Tom is a douche bag who needs a swift kick in the head.
7
Last year Rodney Tom chaired the Higher Ed. Committee. This guy is a disgrace to his family.

Goldy, you're missing the boat entirely on this. You got in early and won the game. Everyone since gets a worse and worse deal. Last one in is the sucker.

GET was a giveaway to the early, well-informed, numerate participants. It's currently a huge ripoff being pawned off on innumerate masses in order to bail-out the early participants.

King Tom will have you flogged for uttering this heresy! Underlings.
