Awesome.

That young new reporter lady on the Daily Show is the most unfunny person I have ever seen on that show. Either the character she plays on the show is just terrible, or she has absolutely no delivery at all with her jokes.

Or maybe I just do not find yelling everything really loudly to be funny.

But more on topic, isn't it time older white guys got a break in this country?

Or, I could have just looked up at the video (can not watch at work) and seen that her name is Jessica Williams.

@2: She's no Wyatt Cenac, that's for sure. (I miss him already.) But on the other hand, she's not the on-screen poison of Olivia Munn or Josh Gad, either.
5
That Obama tape was cut short. The next quote was "Sure, the white guys got the most powerful positions, but once we get to Undersecretary of the Interior, Probationary, look out! It will be more diverse and colorful than an explosion of paint swatches. Trust me."
6
@ 4 Oliva Munn was much better than her

@4: Oh man, I totally forgot (or wiped from memory) Josh Gad. He was terrible.

Wyatt Cenac was the best new correspondent they have had in a long time. He was great. Sad to see him go, but I understand that The Daily Show is more of a springboard, and he is obviously talented enough to make his own way.

His last segment with the puppets was freakin' hysterical.

Chris Rock already did a version of this routine before the election on Jimmy Kimmel. Mom jeans and all.

Okay, we made fun of Romney's binders full of women, but wouldn't it be better to have a cabinet partially filled with women?

If we would criticize a white president for having an all-white cabinet, then we have to criticize Obama for having an all-white cabinet. Still, waiting to see the rest of his appointments is by no means too much to ask.

You know, it really would be good if vaginas could repel rape sperm. Lemme know when someone invents that.
10
Does no one remember the Republican obstruction clusterfuck visited upon Susan Rice? Then Fox News dares to tsk-tsk Obama about a lack of diversity in his appointments? Fox News? Cultural overreach and bullshit hypocrisy in one smarmy headline.
11
@2 I missed the yelling, when is the yelling loudly?
12
@10
So Ms. Rice is the only woman qualified for a cabinet position?... That's it? End of the list?
13
@12: Of course not. My point was that Obama had a qualified and thoroughly vetted candidate who happened to be both a woman and a minority which was shot down for completely bullshit extra-political reasons. That he replaced that appointment with a candidate that doesn't cover all those bases is just the very nature of second choices. Don't get me wrong, I'd prefer to see a lot more diversity in Obama's cabinet in a lot more ways (I'm a gay black liberal). But admonishing him for lack thereof is hypocrisy in extremis coming from the right and premature coming from the left (he's not done appointing members!)
14
@9 and 12: Are you kidding me? He's not replacing everyone in the cabinet- pretty sure a lot of the women and minorities from the last cabinet are probably staying on.
15
@14: Thank you. Seriously.

Please wait...
