But I thought that when someone opens fire at a public place, the best (and only truly constitutional!) way to stop it is for a real murkin gun owner to calmy draw his weapon, carefuly aim, and flawlessly put down the shooter.

I thought gun tragedies only happen because no one around has a gun!

But this looks like a lot of panicked patriots to me. this was their chance to prove dirty harry right!

@1, my point in a nutshell.

Kinda odd to have an ad for cremation right before the news footage starts

Be sure to bring up the Conroe, Texas shooting at a college.

And Canada has its own share of dipshits: two boys in Dorval, Quebec (that's north of Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine), 12 and 16 were PLAYING with a handgun when the 12 yo dispatched a bullet into his brother, killing him. Yeeha, n'est-ce pas?
5
Why are they running away and not toward? Especially the burlier 12 year old boys?
6
Are those her guns that scattered across the ground at the first scene?
7
The only plausible explanation is that the person firing the gun is behind the cameraperson and everyone is running toward the shooter before pulling out their guns to stop them.

@5 Because our schools suck and aren't teaching them proper meat shield techniques yet.
