Ray and Shoshanna continue to be the best characters on Girls. Once it gets canceled, they should get their own spinoff: The Adventures of Naive Girl and Neurotic Boy.

Regarding Glenn losing his shit: Uncool. He was one of the most steadfast characters in the original story. I like him better that way.

Still not sure why we're not seeing more black folks here in Georgia...

All I can say this about both shows:
Has all the combs, shampoo and conditioner been previously looted from these television societies? No? THEN WASH YOUR GOD DAMNED HAIR!

@1: The show is so much different from the books now, I do not even expect the same things to happen anymore. The TV show Glen at least is more likely to crack due to his experience at Woodbury.

@2: I am always much more curious why no one has a Georgia accent.

Regarding Girls:

The problem with Marnie and nudity is not so much that she will not do it, but more the directing is not accomodating to her never being nude. So we see her making out topless with her arms tightly folded the whole time (very natural), and her carry the huge, heavy comforter two steps to the bathroom to hide her body.

Dunham needs to just amend the scene as to not make these little things so obvious, because it does look really unnatural and does not fit with the general openness of the show.
