I wouldn't refer to it as "political genius". Any idiot knows the game is all about scaring folks and blaming the other side, and that's exactly what the idiots are doing.
2
Sure, but I'm impressed by the innovation of turning bored people in airports, no matter what their political affiliation, into an anti-Republican phone bank.
3
Speaking of making your life less efficient, let's not forget Republicans invented the TSA.
4
Same evil genius who thought of the kill list or claiming that if children were killed by drone strikes that they were, by definition terrorists?
5
Got it on speed dial.

Never forget the GOP is the US arm of al-Qaeda, out to destroy the US economy at all costs, and make us live in Fear.

@4 - I'm not sure you realized this, but modern America is full of contradictions.

March 27th is the real deadline, then again that could change it has changed before. In fact lately it keeps getting kicked down the road.

Both sides know this, so yeah the sequester is going to happen, sort of, but it won't really hit till April. March then means everyone running around screaming, and a deal gets cut on March 28 or 30th to kick the can down the road to October. In which case Obama gets another little win.

So all good.

And now imagine all those bored, irritated travelers with guns.

The entire $1.2 trillion in Sequestration 'cuts' should be understood that they are not really cuts at all...

They are really a lowering of the projected INCREASE in federal spending going forward.

In simple terms, if an agency's budget is $100, and they are expecting an increase of $10.00 next year, but they only get $8.00, Dumbocrat politicians characterize that as a $2.00 cut in spending. (Queue the Chicken Little quote).

Please wait...
