In tonight's performance, the role of Rob McKenna will be played by Peter Holmes; the role of Christine Gregoire will be played by Mike McGinn; and the role of Peter Goldmark will be played by John Diaz.

Electing the Attorney General and the City Attorney are problematic for the same reasons. These attorney's, contrary to the mantra that populist candidates would have you believe, are not attorneys for the people, they are attorneys for the Government. When our elected government officials have to navigate the political ambitions and political motives of those whom they are to trust as their attorney, this is problematic.

This is solid reporting and what I look for on the SLOG, especially given the looming Seattle Times paywall.

I like the SLOGs local reporting and its goofy features.

The incessant anti-gun drumbeat? Not so much. It got boring months ago and I'm suffering from gun-control fatigue.

I trust Holmes way more than I trust McGinn. When can we kick this dude out of office already? McGinn = dead man walking. Can't wait until the police are able to take on some real reform.
