Queasymaking to see something like that induced to happen, but Jinkx sure rose to the occasion. I'm so burned out on reality TV that when Roxxy followed by saying her own mom abandoned her and her brother at a bus stop, my response was "how dare you try to top Jinkx". Cold hearted, me.

@1 I think that was the point of the editing. Who knows if Roxxxy actually likes to be that much of a spot-light stealer - but this is the second time she's deliberately (if the editing is to be believed) interrupted Jinkx in a moment she either deserved or had built up in order to draw attention away or attempt to outshine her. The other time was after the elimination for the Snatch Game episode. They show people beginning to actually, FINALLY, give Jinkx her due for doing such an amazing job and BAM! "DON'T FORGET TAMAR!" Roxxxy obnoxiously interjected and that was the end of Jinkx's moment. Killed by a person who can't seem to stand ever not being the center of attention.

However at least this time, no matter how shrewd or calculating the decision to reveal this whammy of a backstory was (and I do believe that she was waiting until she was at risk of going home before revealing it to save herself) at least it revealed a bit of vulnerability to Roxxxy, or at least an explanation as to why she seems to have an impossible time of it when she isn't the center of attention.

But yeah- the way it was edited would make ANYONE go "aw come on! That's just Anything-You-Can-Do-I-Can-Make-Sadder" tripe! And proceed to feel bad about it because god DAMN does that suck if the story is true.
