We're not a mafia.

Be a shame if something was to happen to your bridge funding there, guv'nah.

Why would they endorse Richard Dreyfuss? Lingering admiration for his work during the "panties on the rod" scene from Goodbye Girl, is all I can figure.

This is American Politics 101. You have to support the guy who will throw you a ragged bone once in a while over the guy who will actively work against you.
4
So (according to The Cascade Bicycle Club): stay the course, keep calm and carry on, nothing to see here - move along, etc.
5
Remember when Cascade endorsed Nickels in the 2009 primary? I do, and haven't been a member since.

@2 for the Wolf in Sheep's clothing win.

The city is promising much more than the two cycletracks you mentioned - McGinn has been talking about a citywide network. McGinn proposed using the commercial parking tax to fund the bike master plan, but the City Council used it instead for Mercer Street. So McGinn got the VLF proposal on the ballot in 2011 which would have funded more bike projects, but unfortunately it didn't pass.

Richard Conlin? Of course. Cascade Bicycle Club is all about stuff white people like. http://votesawant.org/.
9
And all someone else has to do, is dangle a separated bike lane option to Cascade to win their endorsement. If its ok that McGinn lie to voters, it would be ok to lie to a bike lobbyist.

Wow, what a surprise. The next surprise will be when the entire staff of the Stranger lines up on their knees to take whatever their demigod chooses to give them.

Please wait...

and remember to be decent to everyone
all of the time.
