"Rand Paul became a hero for certain liberals after his anti-drone fillibuster last month."
Paul, unless YOU were one of those who considered him a "hero" for that then can you leave off the hyperbole?
Because someone you disagree with 99% still has 1% of the same opinions as you does NOT make him your "hero".
I'm antiwar and shit, but what's the argument against drones per se? All I've heard is applicable to "traditional" methods of blowing buildings up (see jets, "smart" bomb missiles) as well. What gives with being afraid of pilotless planes? Don't they cost less and reduce risk?
@ 3, you dummy, didn't you even read the Slog thread about that? There were lefties galore singing his praises. (Paul, you should have linked to that instead of Politico.) Delirian, dirac, bleedingheartlibertarian, Cascadian (not Cascadian Bacon), Pol Pot, redemma, Proteus, several others... All taken in. All waving the Rand Paul flag, saying "this will at least get people talking about drones" and "Rand is right on this one."

Besides, I think they're too busy sobbing over losing their life savings to Bitcoins to notice anything going on in the outside world.
What do any of you people have to say now?
