Obama killed it, great delivery. Loved the bangs joke, Bush library joke and strapping young socialist, muslim joke. Conan went with separated at birth. Must be buttsore from the Late Show.
2
Danny has it bad for Sarah....Don't you just hate it when a gal totally gets under your skin?
3
Sarah Palin is an joke without a brain.
4
I bet that Michelle Bachman joke had more bite on the first draft.
5
I guessed right away. Just how many hypocritical assclowns are there out there (once you limit it to females, especially)?
6
I thought both Obama and O'Brien delivered the funny.

O'Brien seemed a bit nervous at first, but settled down before too long. His joke about the different news stations being like cliques at school - with NPR representing the kids with peanut allergies - was a home run.

Sarah Palin would be a funny joke if she hadn't been nominated for Vice President of one the two major parties. There's nothing funny about a democratic system where someone so unqualified could be chosen to be second in line to the Presidency.

Hugh Kaufman made that the Boston bombers wanted media attention and got it, and the Koch Brothers wanted to no attention for the West Texas story because they want less regulations on fertilizer manufacturers and they are probably more powerful than the President in forcing the media to downplay a story of blowing a US town off the American map.

Is there a video that also shows the screen? Missing lots of jokes. That said, it wasn't too difficult to be funnier than Conan.

@8: The major news sites have the clips you want.

@8 here's one, though it still doesn't have the magazine cover:

Definitely enjoyed Obama's presentation. He's certainly raised the bar for his successors. That was some quality material.

Conan was hilarious, though. It took a couple minutes before his timing and delivery were hitting all the marks, but after then, man! No prisoners, no mercy. Several full-on belly-laughs. And, usually at the expense of someone who deserved it.

Speaking of which, what exactly is that assclown Wassila Grifter tweet-mumbling about hard-working people? She's never worked a day in her life that wasn't part of some con-job. Not only that, she's never taken any of her jobs seriously enough to even want to keep it. Is she even employed now?

All of these are hilarious funny and any no say-yink so will find warm home near tractor factory in Omsk.
15
Hey, Sgt Doom? Thank you, that was well-said and had none of your usual histrionics, name-calling, and link-spamming.

I get your message now, and suggest you continue future posts in that vein: straightforward commentary without the tinfoil-hat bullshit.
16
LOL. Sarah Palin is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
17
It is pretty damn appalling to see liberals still liking and applauding Obama, a devious corporate snake who does more damage to civil liberties than Cheney did.
18
Are there any jokes about drones of bombing innocent civilians?
19
I mean "or"

It's odd that the administration that did more for working people than any other was run by a guy from an ancient aristocratic family from New York. Perhaps noblesse oblige was more the style of that time than today's "I got mine" mentality.

Regardless, the moneyed interests have never forgiven the country for electing FDR to four terms, and they haven't forgotten a thing since then. They've been scheming and waging war to claw everything back into their grasp ever since.

And Obama's just as much of a part of the problem as anyone else. Why else would he have put Goldman Sachs in charge of "rescuing" the economy? I note that Wall Street is doing just dandy and that the wealth gap has spread even more since 2008, while ordinary people struggle with declining wages and persistently high unemployment.

I'm beginning to think al Qaeda was on to something back in 2001. This is a war and we ain't on the winning side.

That Aaron Sorkin was pure gold.

Does anyone have links to clips that do not include Obama? I held out some hope for him in 2008, but I literally can't stand to look at him anymore, let alone listen to him talk. Waiting until 51% of the electorate opposed anti-gay discrimination and then gingerly getting on the bandwagon (after timorously testing the waters) isn't enough wedge-issue window dressing to cover up who he's really been working for from the moment he won the primary. Put another way, "What @17 (Falcor) and @20 (Corydon) said."

But seriously, I really would like links to clips from the 2013 White House Correspondents Dinner that do not include Obama. I need the laughs.

Please wait...
