I suggest that if the anarchists must vandalize this year, they go for something like this. In fact, exactly that. It doesn't make sense or accomplish anything, but neither would whatever they're planning, and at least this would be amusing.

But ...

If they don't break windows, who will steal the 5 hour lifespan Google Glasses that the elite are snapping up?

I don't why you're being so sarcastic Goldy. How can you blame the city from being a little nervous?

I'm pretty stoked that this is a relatively mundane birthday for me this year on the newsfront. It's always violent clashes between protesters and cops, or killing Osama bin Laden (ok, that one was pretty decent). May Day is supposed to be about SPRING TIME and FLOWERS and BUYING ME DRINKS AND STUFF.

@4 Happy Birthday!

It's also SIFF Members Preview tonight.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that what was left of the local Occupy movement that took part in last years protest march, became alienated and see no reason to take the day off and provide cover for the anarchists looking to pick a fight.

This is the death of Occupy as well as Anarchism in Seattle. May they eat a bowl of cancer and fade into obscurity.

Maybe the anarchists realized that planning something was contrary to their very nature and disappeared in a puff of logic.

Please wait...
