I've been wondering if this is one of those Asian-woman-rescued-from-sadistic-and-perverted-Asian-guys-by-honorable-and-heroic-white-guy type of films. Is it?

I recommend "Lilya 4-Ever" (2002) by Lukas Moodysson an extraordinary film on human trafficking made in Sweden. I doubt I'll see this one.
