Aren't mayor and City Council spitefulness as old as Ivar's Clam Chowder? It won't be kitten smiles with Murray necessarily.
2
@1 I think he is being sarcastic
3
It's gonna be fun watching the shock and bawwww on here when McGinn gets his clock cleaned
5
Sally Clark is quickly becoming the John Boehner of Seattle politics.
6
Where is the Mayor on Assad's chemical weapons attack? Can't he think about the CHILDREN?

My read is the Mayor's office didn't make a real inquiry, and was hoping to throw her under the bus, but all you have is hearsay. When it comes to safety downtown, anecdotal evidence doesn't matter, but when it comes to McGinn he gets a free pass. It seems clear there is a different editorial standard at play, but it's never disclosed why that is. When the Seattle Times does it, that's a problem for the Stranger.

5, would that make Conlin the Joe Leiberman?

@4: You seriously make me very concerned for your mental health. No joke, no mocking you. Just concern.

If Sally can't sell out Russian teens for her Billionaire and Millionaire friends what use is she?

So this is what you do as a newspaper when the candidate you are supporting for office is in trouble. Find something to grab onto ( a serious issue to be sure but one the city council or the mayor have little real power to change) and blow it out of proportion.

I'd like the Stranger to push the President of the United States, you know, the elected official who is in a position to actually DO something to, you know FUCKING DO SOMETHING. Instead Dan Savage and the rest of The Stranger have given that guy a pass on the horrors experienced by the gays in Russia.

Absurdities upon absurdities.

I hope the new HTML 6 standard finally implements the Sarcasm Tag.

@10: Yeah, that post really didn't really help your cause.

Please wait...
