Can we try the guards for murder and then if they are found guilty give them the death penalty?
2
Well, that's awful.
3
I get where you’re going with this, but this issue is more about training (for guards), and protocol/policy with regard to medical attention in jails/prisons then it is about pot.

I remember hearing about this one. Pretty horrifying stuff.

3, it's not going to happen. cops & prison guards aren't hired, trained or paid to be anything more than what is demonstrated in the story. being decent human beings is not part of the job description.

You know, Brendan, we have a newspaper up in Everett. It's covered the County Jail stories many times, in great detail. Just a thought- give them a plug rather than that crap TeeVee News site.

@5 - I completely agree. My point is that making this story about marijauna legalization is stretching!
8
The issue here isn't pot legalization, the issue is that we treat prisoners like garbage and no one gives a fuck.
9
Is that a privately-run or state-run prison. If it's the former I'm not surprised.

@ 7. The story doesn't have to be about just one thing. It's about all of it.

Please wait...
