I thought the best part of Slog this week was when Paul Constant tried to swagger his hipness by mentioning Led Zeppelin.

Listen up little boy, you want to talk music, stick with your young peers - Death Cab for Cutie, the White Stripes, Vampire Weekend - feel free to stick your penis into their hot wax. When it comes to writing about giants like Led Zeppelin, best to let the adults do the talking.

With districts likely to elect sawant or forch in 3d and a poc in 2d seems like districts are human rights friendly.
Often it is at large that is not. Seattle elects minorities in both at large or districts if you look at state leg. Though lately minorities on city council are down to one under at large.
Sawant decrying police brutality. also could be seen as more human rightsy than harell who did not.

Guess the Sounders went down hard in Portland yesterday.

I figured we'd have at least a championship level MLS team by now...maybe even with multiple wins.

District elections will expose the hodge podge of divisity (sic) that exists in Seattle...that which elected Mayor McGinn four years ago.

The home owners of Northgate versus the Downtown Syndicate. The immigrants and ethnics of South Seattle versus the locals in West Seattle.

North-South-Central-West. It is not one city.
