Ugh, my brother the EMT was talking about the nursing home incident yesterday - he took the call when it was reported. As bad as it was (he said the woman had a long history of attempting to wander off-site under the noses of the staff), apparently they made things even worse by trying to cover it up by saying she'd had a heart attack - as if the ME or Coroner wouldn't have been able to tell the difference.
