who's wondering? she's going for it.

the oldest person ever elected president. older than reagan.

@1 What the hell does age have to do with anything? She'll set precedents. We have SCOTUS justices that are older. We have senators that are as old or older. She's a brilliant mind. That's what matters.

@2: i don't know that it has anything to do with anything, but i did like that obama was from a new generation that hadn't been in power yet, and that was part of why i preferred him in 2008. hillary represents a regression in that respect; going back to the heart of the boomers (yes, i know the boomer generation technically lasted until 1964).

reagan had alzheimers while president - which has something to do with age, no? i don't expect hillary to have that problem at age 76, 77, but she will be starting the world's worst job at the same age my mother and father-in-law were when they died - 69. so her health/age is a concern i have.

i'll still vote for her, of course, because any GOP alternative is 1000% worse. and i agree, she's smart, and i'd prefer women to be in charge of things in general.

that we have older senators and SCOTUS judges doesn't really make the case that it's not an issue. i don't think most of them serve the nation well at those advanced ages, but it certainly does serve their egos well.

@3 "...because any GOP alternative is 1000% worse"

True words and why I will vote for Hillary despite her age if she is the best of the Democratic lot. No candidate is perfect (Barak Obama).

Rut roh--Hitlery has jumped on the Bangs Bandwagon. FSM save us all from their unquenchable, megalomaniacal thirst for power.

"[We can't end the drug war] there's too much money in it" - Hillary Clinton.

Sorry, as much as I know a female president is exactly what this country needs right now we need a female president who understands how terrible the drug war is and that money needs to be removed from as many sides as possible. Much like when Obama breezed through the caucus without my support it's very likely Clinton here will do the same. Either way, unless the person in question says in a very clear tone that states should be allowed to regulate marijuana entirely for themselves I wouldn't even consider 5% of my vote to that candidate.

Please wait...
