@1: Man, fuck that. I still listen to "The Youth Die Young" on a regular basis. The dudes in Mad Rad were a hot mess (code for: assholes) and I'm glad that at least some of them got their shit together as human beings, but I miss the music. This is a reasonable if not less druggy facsimile.
