Charles, I'd be more interested to hear your definition of "capitalism". From what I can tell, you have a more specific, circumscribed definition than the one rattling around in my head.

At no point is anyone discussing changes in ownership.

That which is being discussed is regulation.

Some would say do away with any minimum wage, but this is impossible because we subsidize and regulate so many other facets of life.

This is more like recognizing that we are born into an artificial world of our own creation, and hence we have to make the rules.
