Don't stop in the middle of the road for jaywalkers.
Don't stop in the middle of the road for cars sitting at stop signs.
Do stop at pedestrian crosswalks if people are in them.
Do signal your turns.
Do not stop in the middle of the road to decide whether to turn left or right.
You're required by law to stop for jaywalkers.
For example: SB 5 to EB 520 in Seattle at the ship canal bridge.
Truck man is the bigger asshole for sure.
Now, if the question had been 'who's the bigger idiot?', then the truck driver wins that hands down.
Also, duty to stop and render aid unless Florida's struck that off the books, fleeing the scene (ditto), what if the truck had overturned and/or careened through the median into oncoming traffic, etc., etc.
I'm glad she got to laugh at him.
But tailgating is dangerous.
Nothing excuses tailgating. Especially at night with blinding headlights. That shit is dangerous.

If you're turning left at a traffic circle, go around the right way. Do not get mad at the driver you almost head-on'ed because you're on the wrong side of the street.

If someone doesn't understand how to properly record a video, then I'm not going to waste my time on it.
The problem on a busy two lane highway is that while the left lane may be the "passing lane" it is also the lane to avoid having to deal with all the cars entering from the entrance ramps.
Many times people have no idea what the phrase "accelerate to highway speed" means, and they expect to enter the right lane without checking their mirror at all, at very low speed, and expect you to slow down for them! This is why I avoid the right lane, but also I do not like to speed more than say 5 mph over the limit, which means I do occasionally get tailgated by hotrodders.
The truck driver appeared to be acting out of anger at a legitimately frustrating situation. The film maker, on the other hand, acted with cool and deliberate malice. That is what makes her the bigger asshole.
But everyone here knew that already, right?
• In the fast lane (not going fast)
• Who does not move right when she has the opportunity to do so
• Who speeds up when the truck guy tries to pass
• Who is filming the whole thing
...is the bigger asshole if two gaping assholes.
I'd go with the guy being a giant dick because he flips her off, but I'm from New York, where we communicate on the road almost entirely in middle-finger gestures.
She should remove herself from the gene pool.
