Be advised: there are Furries, and there are Furries. One group just likes to dress up as cute animals, while the other likes to dress up as cute animals and fuck each other.

The first group *hates* the second one - the "Furry Fuckers" get all the press, so non-furries assume they're all like that. They also try to sneak into the parties/scenes of the "Non-Fucking Furries", which leads to much drama.

I've known a few furries in my time and they were for the most part quite nice folks. They did like to wear their "tails" and didn't make a big deal out of it. I think that acceptance is the name of the game with persons that like alternative lifestyles.
