I think everyone agrees that people making $9.32/hr should get to $15, but does that have to mean that people making $25 or better should also get a $5 bump?

I have to say I am disappointed in both sides here. Between the scare tactics and misinformation coming out of the business community. To the blunt cudgel of a charter amendment being put forth by the 15Now folks.

I have stopped eating at Lost Lake because of Dave Meinert involvement.

Maybe my unhappiness is proof the process is working, but I doubt it.

As an aside are the 15now signature gatherers going to be paid $15//hour?

@2, the "15Now" makes a slick slogan, but they are in fact more nuanced in their ballot measure. It calls for the $15 minimum wage, but phased in over 3 years for smaller businesses. That seems like a very reasonable compromise to me.

Expect him to agree with his business masters that workers are liabilities and do not deserve a living wage.
