Well, caustic soda and cyanide are both 100% natural

So ... Money is Speech ... And you're still serfs to your corporate overlords who pay 1/3 or less the tax rate that you do.
2
Fun fact, "natural" in food labels has no definition under the FDA and never has. Tons of companies use "Natural" to sound closer to "organic" without having to change anything about their products
3
Also, you might want to point to what this is actually about (shady legal policies that state if you ever buy something from general mills that constitutes an agreement to enter arbitration instead) rather than highlighting the stuff about so called natural food disputes, which is really just a highlight of the article.

By law, the word "natural" means "hey, you with the tiny brain and the fat wallet, buy this one!"

The story of yogurt is the greatest marketing triumph of all time. Millions of people slurping up tubs of candy thinking they're eating "health food", it's really quite impressive.

Wasn't the Nature Valley thing where the label said "fortified with vitamins" on it? And it was, but some scarevertiser kook like Mercola or Natural News used the Latin names.. So the chemical names, instead of Vitamin B5 were used in a class action petition and all the crunchy moms who fall for anti-flouride and anti-vaxx memes got all riled up because instead of natural vitamins they were drinking industrial waste. YEAH. So General Mills and such might play loose with labeling rules, but the health food scaremongers who lie about it are just as bad. And, they make just as much money. There is no good guy.

Once again your shoddy reporting ignores an important detail. General Mills is only claiming indemnification in CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS, not individual claims against the mega-crap processed shit manufacturer. No fan of GM here but can't you get anything right?

@3 agreed.

If you buy prepared foods, you pretty much get whatever they want to give you. I don't understand why people would expect anything that smacks of truth, beauty, or honest advertising from "food" corporations.

I tried to share this on my FB page, but couldn't for some straaaange reason. Perhaps they don't Like it.

Please wait...
